More likely, it could also be a self-portrait of the artist, who frequently wears a balaclava with mouse ears. Miss Me oftentimes portrays herself and other powerful women, and with her art work, inspired by feminism and female power, the artist perceives self-liberation, authenticity, and to be a loud, counter-voice to the objectification of women in mainstream advertising.
