Miss Me
The Canadian artist Miss Me has roots in concept art, but is now focusing on street art. Her art works are often political, and the subjects of her works are mostly images of herself or other powerful women. With her feminist style, she is combating sexist imagery in mainstream media. Making art work inspired by feminism and female power, the artist perceives self-liberation, authenticity, and to be a loud, counter-voice to the objectification of women in mainstream advertising. In 2018 she won the Cult prize as “best graffiti artist”.
