Street art is hard to define, since there are so many various aspects of it. Street art is a kind of a post-graffiti contemporary art definition, which means a mixture of the different styles that has been getting more and more visible in the streets since the 90s. Street art differs from traditional graffiti by placement, purpose and technique/style. To sum up street art very shortly, street art is the art you can discover in public spaces; on the streets, so to say. One of the many different techniques street artists use is stencil, which among others is a beloved technique by the world famous artist Banksy.
