Flying Förtress is known worldwide especially for his ‘Teddy Trooper’ - a grinning icon that can be discovered in many public places since the 1980s. Flying Förtress' roots in graffiti and comics influence his entire artistic work, in which he often transforms objects into individual characters. The Munich-born artist and illustrator has lived in Hamburg since 2007.
