Misterpiro

Misterpiro describes his art itself more as a feeling than a reflection. Inspired by the special colorfulness of skyscapes, the Madrid-based artist creates organic pictorial worlds. Blue, red and yellow tones are mostly predominant and visible in different levels of intensity. His paintings always emerge from improvisation and range from figurative elements to complete abstraction.

Around 2005, Misterpiro's artistic work initially began in graffiti, while later he studied design and discovered working with watercolor and acrylic in the studio for himself. Today, the artist combines those two worlds: the delicacy and tranquility that Misterpiro developed in the water-based studio works and the work in public spaces, which is more characterized by volume and dynamism. It is precisely this supposed contrast that the artist combines by means of his characteristic in- and on top of each other, radiant color variance.
