Tendo
Tendo, also known as 9.10DO, began graffiti painting in 2005 and is the founder of the 4TH collective.
Whether it's illustration, sculpture, screen printing, or lettering, it's the "Do It Yourself" spirit of graffiti that fascinates him the most. The quick creation and exploration of forgotten corners of large cities are his driving forces. Travel plays an essential role in his work. From Ukraine to New York to Japan, encounters with other actors in the graffiti scene inspire and enrich his work and practice. In 2010, he founded the collective Road Dogs, which pioneers in freight train transportation in France and establishes close connections with Ukrainian collectives.
His latest work is airbrush on canvas, a series of illustrations that explore the intersection between his graffiti lifestyle and the aesthetics of exploitation film posters from the 1980s and 1990s.
