Muretz

Mauro 'Muretz', a Brazilian artist known for his provocative graffiti and street art, comes from São Paulo. He discovered his passion for drawing at an early age, but at the age of 16 he was expelled from school for “indecent art”. Instead of letting this discourage him, he began to earn a living with his art.

After a brief and disappointing stint at university, Muretz left Brazil and moved to the United Kingdom, where he established himself as a freelance artist. On his return to Brazil, he turned to street art and created works that attracted worldwide attention. Today, he travels the world, his art can be seen in cities and galleries alike, and he inspires others with his unique journey.
