LP Edits
The British artist LP Edits describes his art as “Certified Eyeball Exercise”. And with good reason - because he is known for his conceptual abstracstencil works (combination of stencil and abstract art) using nostalgic imagery and iconic figures to form bright and colourful creations to stimulate those head nuggets, which he creates using a special working method: Any objects such as pitchforks, helmets, cans or vacuum cleaners even the kitchen sink are thrown onto paper alongside his chosen colors giving the works a organic and completely unique finish to every design.
The LP-Process should prompt a mix of emotions during its creative journey from start to finish - This spectacular and crazy spectacle can be followed on his Instagram channel.
During this year's KNOTENPUNKT festival, the Affenfaust Galerie will recreate a part of his studio in Hamburg so that we can take part in the special creation process directly on site during the opening. His pictures, created live during the performance, will then be offered at exclusively.
